Contemporary tea preparation inspired by Czech glassmaking
The TEO collection was developed as a comprehensive family of borosilicate glass teapots and brewing accessories that combine contemporary industrial design with the tradition of Czech glassmaking. Rather than creating a single product, the objective was to establish a coherent collection that serves different brewing methods while sharing a unified visual language.
Manufactured by KAVALIERGLASS in Sázava, one of Europe's leading producers of laboratory and household borosilicate glass, the collection takes advantage of the
material's exceptional clarity, thermal resistance and durability. The design respects
both the craftsmanship and the manufacturing process, resulting in products that feel
refined while remaining suitable for everyday use.
Each product was developed around a specific brewing ritual. Carefully designed infusers, lids and ergonomic handles integrate seamlessly with the glass body, creating an intuitive user experience without compromising the purity of the overall form. Clean proportions and restrained detailing allow the collection to remain timeless while naturally accommodating future product extensions.
The TEO collection demonstrates how industrial design can combine manufacturing expertise, material honesty and everyday functionality into a product family that has remained relevant for more than a decade.
