The PRESIDENT electric kettle was designed to bring together precision, simplicity and everyday usability in a single object. Rather than expressing technology through complexity, the design focuses on clarity—clean proportions, intuitive interaction and carefully refined details.
The project combined advanced functionality, including multiple temperature presets and a keep-warm mode, with a restrained visual language that integrates naturally into contemporary kitchens. Every element, from the handle geometry to the relationship between the kettle and its base, was developed to improve both ergonomics and manufacturability while maintaining a timeless appearance.
The result is a product that balances engineering performance with visual calm, demonstrating that domestic appliances can be both technically sophisticated and quietly elegant. The design was recognised with the Red Dot Design Award 2018.
