A contemporary interpretation of the Czech beer mug
The myBEER Icon collection reinterprets the traditional Czech beer mug through a clean and contemporary design language. Rather than relying on decorative elements, the character of the glass is created by a distinctive vertical relief that enhances both its visual identity and the experience of holding it.
The carefully balanced proportions and thick-walled glass provide a reassuring sense of quality, while the integrated handle offers a comfortable grip and keeps the beer insulated from the warmth of the hand. Designed for everyday use, the collection is available in both 300 ml and 500 ml versions, creating a coherent family of products for different drinking occasions.
The project demonstrates how a familiar object can be refined without losing its authenticity—respecting Czech brewing tradition while introducing a timeless form that feels equally at home in contemporary interiors.
