The EGOÉ Roof Tent was designed to transform almost any passenger car into a comfortable mobile base for outdoor adventures. Combining compact dimensions with rapid deployment, it offers a practical and elegant solution for people who seek the freedom to travel without compromising comfort.
Rather than treating the roof shell as a purely functional enclosure, the project focused on creating a distinctive product identity. Inspired by the flowing rhythm of the landscape, the sculpted shell combines soft, aerodynamic surfaces with a characteristic ribbed profile that improves structural stiffness while giving the tent an unmistakable visual signature.
Every aspect of the design was developed with manufacturability and everyday usability in mind. The geometry balances aerodynamic efficiency, interior space and production requirements, while carefully refined proportions allow the roof tent to integrate naturally with a wide variety of vehicles without appearing oversized or visually heavy.
The result is more than a camping accessory. It is a contemporary outdoor product that combines industrial design, engineering and mobility into a cohesive solution, enabling users to travel further, stay longer and experience nature with greater comfort.
